BIO
Michelle is a passionate and ambitious Songwriter from North London. A singer and avid lyric fan since her teens, she grew up listening to music from the vocal "greats" out there - Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Amy Winehouse - as well as being fascinated by lyrical talents like Eminem, the Arctic Monkeys, Stereophonics and The Streets.
Michelle mainly writes and releases pop music - think Madison Beer meets Taylor Swift. She is inspired by songs that create a strong emotional response.
Classically trained in Piano and Voice, Michelle collaborates with Producers, Artists and Lyricists from all over the world, recently co-writing with published songwriter Jeff Franzel and signed singer-songwriter, Amber Leigh-Irish.
She has had music published by independent music production company Roasting House and in December 2023 she had one of her songs performed live on CBBC by up-and-coming artist Tilly Lockey (winner of CBBC's 2021 series of 'Got What it Takes').
Past song submissions have won her semi-finalist positions in the song of the year competition and the international songwriting competition for 2022.
Michelle is a member of PRS, PPL and Ivor Academy.
Focused and fired up - she is always looking to work with those who have the same attitude, so please get in touch if you want to work together!
